mbK asked to join “A Blue Economy website”

Had a call from the University of Wollongong regarding Inclusion in their Challenge Sustaining Coastal and Marine Zones research, asking if we would like to be included in their “A blue economy” project / website, (we are # 35 on the map) Global Challenge team, headed by Dr. Michelle Voyer, has just launched a project to test the effectiveness of the “blue economy” model in the South Coast region. Very excited to be involved!

The project involves taking stock of the marine industries that exist in the region, the challenges they face, as well as potential opportunities and competitive advantages within the region. The team has launched an interactive online story map introducing and explaining the blue economy concept. Click here to visit the webpage!
